This is more than a Christmas story - it is about a love that lasts for eternity. A story which begins with a child like fantasy, twists into a modern day romance and ends in a sweet declaration of eternal love. Jack is trying to find his lost love and Amara is looking for her first real love. This book would make a great Christmas movie. I can’t wait to read the next book in the Holly Hill series

Delightfully sweet romance worthy of a Hallmark Christmas movie, with the added tension of world-ending stakes that somehow wove flawlessly into the sweetness of the romance. I loved the prose. There were times when I paused just to appreciate how beautifully an idea was conveyed. Though I live in the heat of South Mississippi, and read this book in July, I easily escaped into the frigid temperatures of winter because of how well the story was written. The world building and magic felt real. I definitely recommend.

I absolutely LOVED this witty holiday romance! This book gave me so many “Hallmark movie” vibes plus contemporary romance novels, and then add the drama from the witty Christmas characters. I was hooked from page 1 and couldn’t wait to read what was going to happen next! I loved the unpredictable moments throughout the book with twists along the way, but ultimately cheered on Amara and her happy love-ending to the finish. I highly recommend His Christmas Bride for a fun, fresh, unpredictable and heart-warming holiday read. I can’t wait to read more from author Diana James!

The Characters
